Coffee, Oat and Banana Breakfast Smoothie

If you are like me and find mornings…challenging, you may appreciate this all-in-one brekkie solution. The ultimate breakfast smoothie! Get your coffee, fruit, and oats all in one go, on the go! Ok I’m starting to sound a bit like a TV commercial here but seriously this triple-threat breakfast smoothie is so perfect when you are in a rush and don’t have time to make porridge and you don’t want that awks ‘where do I put my banana skin’ moment whilst on the train to work. Just throw all the ingredients in the blender and blend for a moment then pour into a bottle and runnnn like your job depends on it!

  • 1-2 Shots of coffee (can also use decaf)
  • 300ml Almond milk
  • Two Large bananas
  • 8 to 10 Pitted dates (use less if using a sweet variety like deglet nour)
  • 1 Cup of oats
  • 1Tsp of Vanilla essence
  • A Handful of ice


  1. Put everything into a blender except the ice and blend
  2. Add the ice and blend again, then serve cold
