If ever there were an ideal matrimony it has to be the one between chocolate and hazelnut. Nutella is an all time favourite for good reason. The nutty, buttery taste of hazelnut pairs perfectly with the rich and creamy taste of chocolate.
Since making the decision to abstain from refined sugar I’ve found my sweet tooth slowly retreat, but I do still occasionally enjoy something sweet and yummy. Finding sweet and yummy shop-bought treats that do not contain refined sugar however is a mission I prefer not to undertake too often. So playing around in the kitchen with fruit sugars, coconut sugars and date sugars have become the norm for when I fancy something sweet! Enter, Vegan Nutella! Free from refined sugar and easy on the oil, this is Nutella’s healthier sibling!
Slather it on toast, put it on pancakes or just spoon it straight from the jar (or even the blender if you are super impatient like me). Enjoy!
